フレームに使用されてるTPX（ポリメチルペンテン）は、透明性・耐熱性・耐薬品性に優れた熱可塑性樹脂の中では特に比重が軽く耐薬性に優れ透明性が高い、耐熱性が高いためアングラーにとって夏の使用時の耐熱性が優れています。
融点は230～240℃で、高温における使用が可能
* 優れた透明性可視光線透過度は90%であり、紫外線透過率はガラスや他の透明樹脂に比べて優れ耐薬品性にも優れています。

レンズの素材TACはもともと，写真用フィルムの基材として開発されたものだが，不燃性，透明性，表面外観，等に優れることから，液晶ディスプレイの構成部材である偏光板の保護膜としての用途などにも使用されてます。
